The automated phone menu has found a better use. 9 to 5 Warriors is introducing Command Central, an interactive audio adventure that turns a real phone call into a mission inside its action-figure universe. Command Central officially launches on October 8, 2026.
Dial (925) WAR-RIOR (925-927-7467) and clock in as a remote Command Operator. The Water Cooler Commandos are in the field. When they need a decision, they turn to you. Listen to the unfolding situation, use your keypad to give an order, and hear what happens next.
Take the quiet route or make an entrance. Send help or change the plan. Choices open alternate story paths and lead to different outcomes, giving callers reasons to return and try another approach. Get the mission wrong, and Major Eraser may have a few words about your continued employment.
With character performances, music and sound effects, Command Central gives the familiar touch-tone interface a new job: controlling an ongoing story. The nostalgic ritual of calling a number and pressing a button becomes the link between the audience and the action.
The toy world keeps talking.
New episodes will arrive weekly, with fresh missions, decisions and character moments. The series expands the world of 9 to 5 Warriors beyond the display shelf, giving fans a recurring way to participate in its office warfare.
Creator Brandon Braswell developed Command Central as a new medium for the continuing stories he has been writing for these characters for years. An interactive phone line offered a distinctive way to bring those stories to life, with the audience helping decide how each mission unfolds.
